John H. Chrostowski obtained his undergraduate degree from Yale University. He was then accepted to Tufts University School of Medicine, where, during his four years he served as President of the Medical Honor Society. Dr. Chrostowski also earned awards in Anatomy, Physiology and the prestigious Top Medical Graduate Award.

Returning toYale for his postgraduate studies, Dr. Chrostowski completed his Internship in General Surgery and his Residency in Orthopaedic Surgery. It was then that he headed south, moving
to Nashville, Tennessee. There, Dr. Chrostowski participated in the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine’s Department of Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation Fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma.

Following the completion of his Fellowship, he spent a year as Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine.

In 1998, Dr. Chrostowski was asked to come to Chattanooga and join the Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics where he specializes in problems of the Foot and Ankle and injury management.
